The New York Botanical Gardens are holding their annual Orchid Show from now until early May.  As we get closer to Spring, there will be more and more opportunities for photographers to see some very colorful displays.  You can see my photos from the Orchid Show in the NYBG Orchid Show 2016 Galley. #OrchidNYBG

When we went last year, Valerie had no orchids.  Today, she has eight of different varieties.  Some of my favorites from the show:

I started off with my ISO at 100, but quickly bumped it up to 200.  That gave me a bigger range to ride the shutter speed up and down as the light conditions warranted.  These are all at f/2.8.
