This year we decided to take a "Staycation" and visit some sites in the Hudson Valley.  Our first trip was to Kykuit, the Hudson River Estate of the Rockefeller Family.  The home was built by John D. Rockefeller Sr., the Standard Oil magnate.  It was passed down to John D. Rockefeller Jr. and then to Nelson Rockefeller, former Vice-President and four term NY Governor.

The tour we took was mainly of the grounds at Kykuit.  Millions of dollars of art acquired by Nelson Rockefeller was all over the grounds.
