Corona Park

We headed down to Queens to go to the Tiffany Exhibit at the Queens Museum.

The Queens Museum is part of the site in Corona Park where the World's Fair was held in 1939 and 1964.  The building was originally the New York City Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair.

Outside the Museum is the Unisphere from the 1964 World's Fair.

This is my favorite photo.  I was framing up the globe and this kid came riding by on a bike.  So I waited until he got about in the middle of the frame and snapped the picture.  I think the dramatic sky adds to the mood.
