Golden Gate Bridge

We walked the Golden Gate Bridge from one end to the other. All 1.7 miles!

Unfortunately, the fog had rolled in and we didn’t get great pictures. But the locals say it’s like that most days, so I wanted to get a true representation of what the bridge was like.

The first 1/4 mile or so, people threw change down onto the bridge. I guess for good luck. Not very many coins in the middle of the bridge.

The pedestrian walkway is shared between bikers and walkers. The bikers are very careless, in the opinion of a walker.

After the bridge, we took a bus down to Sausalito and rode a ferry back to San Francisco.
