NYC Marathon
Always interesting watching the cast of characters at the NYC Marathon. What always strikes me funny is the wide variety of people running 26.2 miles through the streets of NYC. This year we were on 68th street which I never realized is about a mile of gentle uphill from 59th street to the high 80s.
Super proud of this girl. She got injured about mile 8 and toughed it out to mile 18 before she couldn’t take the pain anymore.
I love this photo just because of the moment. She had her hands full and reached up to scratch her nose and it looks like she’s flipping me off.
