Raising the Memorial Bridge

We were in New Hampshire for a weekend getaway. Sunday we decided to head to Portsmouth for a cruise to Star Island from the Isle of Shoals Steamship Company. In order to get under the Memorial Bridge, they had to raise the center section. They raise the center section at the top and bottom of the hour, so you know the boat was ready to go when it raised.
