Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge

We took a day trip to visit two flower bridges. The first one was the Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge in Simsbury, CT. The Farmington River was violent after the floods north of us. Only cell phone pics, still having trouble carrying the DSLR.

This basket was dedicated to Shirley Slattery who was 102 years old this year. I don’t know who Shirley is, but someone surely thought to honor her.
