Marble House

Marble House was one of the three in Newport proper that were decorated for the holidays. There is a different level of ostentatious in a Vanderbilt home. The funny thing is, none of these homes were ever decorated for Christmas. They were occupied July 1st though the end of August.

Another set of easy navigable back stairs. We actually had to go down this set of stairs…four flights.
