Made the trip to NYBG today before our membership expires for the year. The Orchid show this year was, how can I say this nicely, a little lacking. Not the overwhelming display of orchids that is normal. Maybe we are getting spoiled. I brought the point and shoot camera because it’s so moist in the greenhouse that the lens fogs up until it gets to room temperature and that is half way through the display.

Always a nice trip, though.
