Our lighthouse journey started at Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, North Carolina.  Did we climb to the top?  Damn right we climbed to the top!  12 flights of normal stairs to get to the top.

After the day's events, we managed to check-in to the hotel a little before sunset.
