This photo makes me a little sad. We know the oceans are polluted, but when you go to your pristine beach you don’t see everything that washes up. Here in a 2x3 foot section of beach was a cigar tip (top left) and discarded fishing gear (bottom right). We need to get it through our heads that plastic NEVER degrades.
