Norwalk River Valley Trail
A beautiful Sunday afternoon in December was an opportunity to take a walk on the Wilton Loop of the Norwalk River Valley Trail. I'd like to report that we did the full 8 miles around Wilton, but that would be a lie. In reality, we did about a mile in and the same mile out. It was chilly for a walk, but not chilly for December 20th!
I first asked Valerie and Otis to sit on this rock facing the other direction, because that was the better angle on the sun. However, the harsh light of the sun cast some pretty nasty shadows on them both. I had them turn around to the other direction, even though I wasn't looking forward to taking a photo with the sun directly behind them. But I blocked the sun with a tree and came out with this image.
