Morris Island Mistakes

Photographers learn from their mistakes.  Below are some of the mistakes I made when shooting on the Morris Island Lighthouse Tour.

A decent picture of a Brown Pelican and a Sea Gull.  Except it looks like the Pelican has wires going right through his body!  Eventually the boat swung around and I got a decent shot.

Conceptually, this was a great image.  Guy walking in the water with the lighthouse in the background.  I tried to expose for him, but the glare off the water was crazy.  If I had only brought my circular polarizing filter!

Although the lighthouse was slightly leaning, my horizon is way off here.  Again with the glare!

This could have been an awesome shot.  But I was in AI Servo mode and not single point focus.  The camera decided to focus on the grass and not the leading bird, so he is a little out of focus.
