East Quoddy Head Light Final stop of the Canadian lighthouses was East Quoddy Head Light. This is my favorite photo in a long time. I have read that when photographing lighthouses it is important to answer the question of "Why was this lighthouse put here?" I think this photo pretty much explains this one. If it were low tide, you could have walked a sandbar over to where the lighthouse is and climb those stairs. Except if you don't get off by the end of low tide, you're on the island for another 8 hours! I passed on that part.
